Cranbrook Black Wolves

CRANBROOK BLACK WOLVES

Coming off a 22-0-1 record and an ALA Provincial gold medal in 2022, Cranbrook Lacrosse adopted a new team name, switching from the Outlaws to the Blackwolves. The move tied the club more into the Indigenous heritage of the game, with the wolf being a symbol of intelligence, loyalty, and being a skilled hunter. The name change did not change Cranbrook’s on-floor demeanour however, again accomplishing a perfect 16-0 regular season in the RMLL Jr B Tier 2. As the only BC team in the RMLL, competing against teams from predominantly Alberta, the Cranbrook Blackwolves are excited to line-up against fellow British Columbian teams for the first time since 2019.
