Day 3 Wrap-Up

The final day of the round-robin portion of the 2025 MacDonald Cup featured four matches.

The Westshore Bears (2-1) downed the West Kootenay Timberwolves (0-3) 19-4 at 10:00am. Aodhan Hildebrandt led the attack with 4 goals and 4 assists with Ty Reeve stopping 26 of 30 shots. The North Shore Indians (2-1) upset the Saanich Express (2-1) 8-4 at 1:00pm. Rakawineh Elijah (4G, 1A) led scoring for the Indians while Blake Swan stopped 51 of 55 shots in net.

The Prince Albert Predators (3-0) finished the round-robin perfect after defeating host Valley Sturgeon (1-2) 17-7 at 4:00pm. Brayden Rieger had a huge game, scoring 5 and assisting on 6 goals, and Oliver Volek stopped 30 of 37 shots in the Predators' net.

The day wrapped up with the Langley Thunder (2-1) knocking off the Oceanside Sharks (0-2-1) 15-10 at 7:00pm. Oceanside’s Nate Akhurst (6G, 1A) led scoring with Langley’s Deklan Morrison stopping 36 of 46 shots.
